So here we are hosting a Boxing Buddy named Mudkip and we have to get some boxes for him. there are not many around so I will hit my own first since they will be quick and I know where they are.
We decide to go after dinner. When while we were eating the sky lets loose. Some lightening, not much thunder tho, with wind and rain just in massive amounts. On the news there are reports of potential tornadic rotation. But there is just to much rain. It only lasts about 30 minutes and is gone. During that time it is mentioned that in the old downtown area there are trees down and power is out. I call my parents to see how they are and she said you gotta see it. So we load up Mudkip and go gawking. There are hundreds of people walking around the little old historical part of town. and here is where it is just devastated. We set Mudkip on a few of the felled trees and take photos. There were some strange looks from those around us. But what a good story he can pass along. I have a Lb hidden amongst these trees and while seeing all this I know that this is not the time to retrieve it. I do hope that it is still in place when I go back tomorrow. This will be Mudkips first find.
